Focus groups allow companies wishing to develop, package, name, or test market a new product,
to discuss, view, and/or test the new product before it is made available to the public.
At Elemental Creative Ltd, our Focus Group Studies and Analysis services, carried out by
usability experts, will identify any gaps in the message that your website or intranet 'gives
out.'
We will use a focus group to evaluate a newly designed website to retrieve user feedback and
gauge initial reaction to a new design, by asking our onsite testers a number of website
-orientated questions relating to their experience of using a company website.
In conjunction with your company, we will identify the major audience within you website and
using this information, determine their characteristics and demographics.
We will use this information as the basis for the type of user we will use in the focus group.
Focus group discussions will show how a website differs from the users expectations, as well as
show any potential problems that may be contained within a website
Focus groups rely on group interaction to trigger memories that may not arise during an
individual interview. To ensure that the feedback is relevant and impartial and to avoid 'group
think', Focus Group Analysis is performed using at least two groups for any one project.
When the group meeting has been completed, all responses will be reviewed and analysed. The findings will be published in an easy-to-read report available in word, pdf format, online or print. Full access to all feedback is available.
