Guidelines for the Design of Advanced Voice Dialogues
These guidelines are intended for designers as a reference source and as a tutorial. There are both specific guidelines and general discussion and advice for designers at all stages of the design process.

HCI Bibliography
Gary Perlman's list of over 18,000 bibliographic entries (over 800 of which are URL links) on HCI. The HCI Bibliography (which also contains 3,268 abstracted entries for the HFES meetings from 1987-1995) handles over 6,000 searches per month.

Task-Centered UI Design (Online Book)
The central goal of this book is to teach the reader how to design user interfaces that will enable people to learn computer systems quickly and use them effectively, efficiently, and comfortably. The interface issues addressed are primarily cognitive, that is, having to do with mental activities such as perception, memory, learning, and problem solving.
